Similar (great!) looking, but SRMS has different neck (Jatoba/Mahogany + Panga Panga fretboard vs. Jatoba/Bubinga/Rosewood, Different body (Mahogany vs. Ash), Bartollinis BH2 rather than BH1 pickups, different monorail bridges (SRMS has adjustable spacing) and a different preamp.
The body is stained ash top on the SRFF but poplar burl brown or black onthe SRMS. I've got the brown burst SRMS805 and it looks very nice, if I may say so myself!.

Is it just me who always thinks the higher notes tend to be louder anyways? I'd be curious to test something like this with the PUs in diferent directions...
