I have oportunity to get Ibanez TR series with 2x EMG J pickups
is it worth 390$ ?
I play death metal (fingerstyle) and I need fast neck and bright 'buldozer' sound.

it is probably TRB 105TR, alder body, 3pc maple neck w/ rosewood fingerboard, passive controls but p-ups changed to EMG J

got me an RD500, that I absolutly love. Killer tone and playability, and very versatile. And all for under $350.
Sorry, no way to take pics, but see post a ways back of the RD505, and it pretty much the same. (w/MTD 45-105's 'stead of the Elixers).

Ok, here's some pics of my beat, played, and modded to hell Ibanez GSR 190. It's got A Badass bridge moved back about an inch on the body. A set of Dimarzio Ultra Jazz pups and it's been obviously defretted. But it plays and sounds damn good (although it doesnt look it at all) This thing has been through a lot and it will soon be finished. I might get the board epozied and I'm gonna get electronics installed as its running straight to the jack right now.
BTW, I did the routing so thats why It's so jagged and sloppy, but I don't really care. I still love her.
hm, I just found out that they are no longer making the burled poplar version of the SR1006, which means that the worthness of my bass just went up.
this info could be wrong, but they don't sell it on SamAsh anymore, and that was the only place that sold them.
