MY mid 80's Ibanez RB630BK. I've been searching for this bass for years (a previous band member had one that I got to borrow a whole lot, wanted my own ever since). I finally found one on Ebay the otehr day, and it should be here in about a week, I'm so excited.

Now to find an RB960BK too, then my Ibby collection will be complete. Oh, who am I kidding, no it won't, I want about a dozen others too. I love Ibby's, one of hte best workhorse basses out there, they'll never let you down.

That is almost exactly like the bass I have been hunting for. I played a black one almost exactly like that years ago, didn't have the money that day and it was gone by the weekend. I've been searching for anohter ever since. If you ever want to sell that....

Right now?

Like utter crap! i stuck some new strings on, and the neck didnt like it, and, the truss rod is jammed and wont move, altho, its getting a bit better as the months go by!

When its working its great, you can get a good uprightish/accoustic sound with the piezo's, pretty bright sounding, and the soapbar is warm and mellow sounding, mixing the two gives a really nice sound, its just a pity ive started shifting towards having a darker sound (like i get from the BTB), because the EDA is just a dream to play! soooo comfortable :)

Cheers for the compliment marcus

And Heath, Mk4? nah!, im getting an 810 to replace the 410, not sure if ill get an ampeg or peavey, would like a peavey 810TX (almost had one on ebay earlier in the month but missed out just :'( ) , and what i really want, is a Classic 400 head, that, would be sweet

It's a psedu-clever jab at Ibanez made up by folks that have nothing nice to say about the aforementioned brand.

Personally, I'm not trying to change anyone's mind about Ibanez if they've had negative or even positive experiences with their instruments, but what's the point in cutting something down through snide jabs? I digress though...

Here are pics of a bass I would love to own that is currently on Ebay... a koa ATK500...

Here's the link for the curious as well: Ibanez ATK500 Auction

I am in no way affiliated with the seller, just passing along a glance at a killer ATK that I've never seen.
