thanks for the link...a few interesting Roadstar II's that I haven't seen. One looked a lot like my 924 but in white. Would love to have my a bass like my 924 in white. The bass I'm talking about had gold hardware though which I'm not a fan of.

my sr305dx, i love it to death

there's my baby. It's a SR1006LEBP (limited edition burled poplar). She has custom bartolini pickups, and a Vari-mid 4 band preamp. I don't mean to be biased or anything, but this is the most beautiful Ibanez I've seen, others have said so as well.

She plays like a dream and I'm never giving her up.

Omg!  That is pure SEXX!

the burl is soooo nice, congradulations man!!

Found this Destroyer II at a Daddy's Junky Music not too long ago - $120. It's a bit rough around the edges, but it's going to be my first restoration project. I really dig the body style, I wish they still made them.

yes, I was astonished by how good the burl on my bass looks. I saw it and I almost fell over it was so gorgeous (and still is). I'm still mad that they don't make them anymore though, which means that not too many others will be able to own the wondefulness of my bass, unless of course I sell it, good lukc there gents ;)

Nah, how about a 3620 (i think) cab, 2x18's and 2x10's !

Dunno, personally never really like the 1516 cabs, but the one i played was in pretty bad shape, so, i dont know!

The firebass is really good with the 410 and with the 215, really loud and punchy, and the contour dial is great, changes the sound alot, can really warm it up :)

I had my share of Fenders. Some I wish I still had but others I disliked. The last one being an american Jazz Standard with that lousy S-1 switch. The Japanese and American vintage series are still good but the rest are not what they once were. I now love Ibanez. Since the quality has improved tremendously they sound, play, and feel much, much better. :bassist: :D

I'm interested to know more about both of these basses. Do they both have Bartolinis? I know that SR500 does. I tried to find one of those quilted BTB's on Musician's Friend today to see how much they wanted for them and they're only carrying the 5 string for some reason. I hate 5 strings.
