Yeah. Got my Blazer back. Dont' have camera, so I can't make a photo yet. Truss rod is a little bit loose, but it does no respond so it must wait few months for a repair. Yeah, sound IS pretty low and warm. I like it :D It's a little diffcult to play right now, I think I'll tune it down a little to make strings more floppy and decrese the tension. I Threw away the shims, it's better but not as good as I would like to. yeeeeehaaaw, P-bass power :)

I'm gonna post my K5 again, I've posted sound clips, not much, but if anyone's interested on how that thing sounds...

Ahhh. I have an Ashdown 180B head. Occasionally I like to turn the EQ on my amp off, and with my Ibby SR300DX (phat boost electronics) set with full P volume, low-med J volume, med tone and no bass... I have found some dreamy bass tone! <- today!

I've tried fiddling with my EQ when using it... but flat just sounds so perfect. I've done a flat boost (though, with full trebble) and it basically sounds the same but louder...

Just another "I love my Ibanez!" story. :)

Psh however... I feel that EQing my SX jazz would be a project on itself.. (in comparison with the Ibby - the SX isn't bad at all, but it's no Ibanez. :D)

I love them both...

I've been looking at the GWB lately, because ive been considering a fretless 5 or 6.
If i got a 5, id tune it e to c though.

Such a nice looking bass.
Just a few questions.
Are they neck through?
And besides the pickups whats the difference between the two models ibanez currently offers? besides the price gap of course.

And finally, you wouldnt have a recording of it you could send me would you?

Here's my recently acquired SR1016. Plays great, super lightweight, but lacks clarity on the B-String. Thinking about changing the electronics to sort this out, though not sure if that'll make any difference...anyway...

IT is a 1995 Ibanez TR505 Expressionist. i love this thing. I have it tuned EADGC. I took the pickgaurd off but put the screws back in the holes and over the years they have turned and tarnished nicely.

Anyone have a schematic or manual showing the electronics on my black RB850 Roadster?
Double large soapbars with 2 rows of adjustable exposed poles
Blend, volume ,tone with the latter two being spring loaded push / pull types ? coilsplitters?
Anyone?
Thanks

An original 1990's MIK ATK 300. As mentioned in a previous thread, this was won on eBay for AUS $291, an absolute bargain.

The chrome is just about as shiny as the day it left the factory.

I need a pickguard template - anybody got one?

Even the body is in great shape, there's hardly any dings at all.

My set-up is settling in at the moment, it needed just a touch more relief and some major adjustments to the bridge saddles. I must be getting good at this - I eyed in the intonation, and get this: all four saddles were less than 10 cents sharp at the 12th fret, and the G was dead on :ninja:

First impressions is that the pickup switch is quite subtle with the eq run flat, but there is a noticeable difference between the two extremes. I feel it needs just a little bit of bass dialed in at all times to give it some beef when compared to my J or Warwick, but I'll see how she steers at practice/gigging volume.

Overall, I'm very happy and this rates as one of the best purchases I've ever made :)

I personally hated Ibanez in the past, but this of course was before I had ever even picked one up and had just heard things from friends. Well...they were wrong, My new Ibanez Kicks A**

Since than Ive purchased an Ibanez BTB450QM 4 string in Natural Brown Sunburst, which I will post pictures of once I my camera working again.

It really sings through my Ampeg.

I love my Ibanez, one of the best basses ive ever heard for under a grand and am hopefully soon going to be looking at buying more, mainly an SR500, an ATK305, and the less expensive Gary Willis signature.

I doubt ill ever play anything other than my ibanez anymore especially once I buy more of them.
