It was a combo, small & low wattage, with a speaker no bigger than 10", probably 8". Google Images didn't show the amp I recall. Perhaps my perception of "rectangular & deep" is off, but at the time the design is what caught my eye and made me decide to try it. It had a tight & punchy sound rather than a deep rumble.

Poke around on VintageKustom.com, maybe you'll find something there.
I'm not sure, but I certainly wouldn't go below 4 ohms. Kustom said very little about that kind of thing. You can poke around here: Welcome to VintageKustom.Com!
I googled some schematics and they don't say there either. Weird.
A friend of mine has a Woodson amplifier. Woodson was a spin-off or family feud company of Kustom and their designs are similar. A lot of Woodson amps are 8 ohms minimum.
Dropping some Eminence Delta 15a's in my tuck n roll 215 this week. Waiting for the other speaker, it should be here tomorrow. This should do this old dog of mine some good. Also I should hear a little difference since I'll be going from 8ohms to 4ohms. Should be able to report back sometime tomorrow.
I once played guitar in three a piece band called "On Ten" where I was using a Marshall 4x12 on each side of the stage, with 2 speakers of each cab powered by a Blackface Showman and the two powered by a 50 watt Marshall. The bass player's rig was pretty stout and special! I forget the impedances of the individual speakers, but he had a black roll & tuck Kustom 2x15 on either side of the drummer, each loaded with Black Widows (his favorite, after trying and not liking Electrovoice & JBL) with the impedance of each speaker to run a Kustom 200 to full wattage. He then had four Kustom 200 heads (two on top of each cab), two were black, one was blue sparkle and the other was silver sparkle. We had installed pre-amp out and power amp in jacks on each amp so he could drive them all from a single pre-amp. What a Monstrous and fat sounding rig! He had a third (green sparkle) cab that had the proper impedance to drive a single amp to full power, for smaller gigs.
The PA was pretty cool too. We found two tall 3x15 blue sparkle cabs, that when we got them had two really crappy 15s that were boxed off from a third 15" section that had a big round horn in it. We removed all the components and replaced them with three EVM 15s, two for low and one for mids, and plopped a JBL horn on top for a killer three way PA!
The bassist kept bustin' my chops to get a couple 4x12 Kustom cabs, but I was pretty young, stubborn and likely dumb, so that never happened, but what a crankin' little rig, all around! Now that I'm starting to play bass a bit, again, I'm kinda looking for a well functioning Kustom 200!

With Kustom 200 you need (2) 8 ohm cabs (4-15s)to actualize total wattage
Even then Unless you use JBLs or some modern replacements you will be easily overcome by a single quad box Marshall
Mine (‘70) is all original with CTS ..still works! But only good against Fender Super or similar
Low-medium volume they are fine. For Loud I don’t recommend unless your lower back can handle extra cabs and heads as mentioned earlier

Wow, I had that exact same rig, I got it brand new in 1979. Had it for years and gave it to a friend who was learning.
It's weird, because you cannot give these things away, but I think they sound great; I have a Kustom A-100 head and an old Kasino 4x10 combo (I think it's a U-200)...

I’ve been a fan of the vintage Kustom gear for a while but just finally pulled the trigger on a 2x15 black tuck’n’roll bass cab. Early 70s CTS. Have jammed through it a couple of times through my Ampeg V4B and love the tone but am a little disappointed at the lack of clean volume that I can get. I haven’t opened it up to see what it’s loaded with but am pretty sure it’s the stock speakers and was wondering if anyone had an opinion on possible replacement speakers and their respective characteristics . For the record I was trying to get something between the SVT 8x10 and the SVT 2x12 that I normally run through and find this has slightly less bottom than the 2x12 which is the opposite of what I was hoping for

This thread is almost as old as my Kustom amp. I have a Kustom 300 head, six channels, two prong, paid $10 at a swap meet, about twenty five years ago. the tuck and roll is coming loose. If a number is available, I'll post it in Roman numerals.

It certianly should, I owned a Casino 200 2x15 “Combo”. No separate head
but lots in common with Kustom 200.

Ever figure anything out with your cab? I was offered one locally on the cheap. Thinking might be cool to have with an older tube amp.
