Probably safe to double check, but Dan Lenard's been doing this for awhile, so I would bet against it.

Plus, I think BB's was a maple board, so unless they're master criminals ;)

Edit: since I'm such a know-it-all :D, here's his FB post wih is stolen gear listed. Been awhle, but who knows. He posted he's only gotten one back so far :poop:

It's amazing how one never stops learning. I've been doing my own setups for years, and have gotten very good at getting my basses to play and feel amazing, which is even easier to do when both of your basses are Lull's. But I had a big revelation this morning. My two Lull basses both have the Hipshot A-style bridge, on which you can adjust the string spacing within each saddle. For years, I've just set each saddle adjustment in the dead center, assuming that would get me a 19mm string spacing. I never bothered measuring. This morning, I measured the string spacing on my two Lull P4's for the first time, and discovered that I've had my string spacing set at 20mm this whole time. So I adjusted each saddle inward, to achieve exactly 19mm between each string, and my basses feel even better now!

1mm difference from string to string may not seem like much, but it actually makes the total spacing between the E and G strings 3mm closer together, which is a big difference. I thought I'd share my "lightbulb" moment with you guys. I'm really excited about the tighter string spacing making my basses even easier to play from here on out. I wish I had figured that out years ago.

If you play a lot and/or more complex passages 1mm makes a big differance.

One of the things I like most about Mike's 5 strings is that they are 18mm and for me that is perfect.
