Yes! I have a P4 with a P width ebony board that I love, so I went with a J width neck on this one.

My P4 has a rosewood board. About the only change I'd make is an ebony fretboard for that extra little snap.

So I picked up this one. I really wanted the Aguilar system in one of my basses, and then just played so great, I had to have it.

Really, the M4V just fits me man like nothing else.....and I've owned or tried pretty much everything else.

I used my white Lull P4 with roundwounds Friday night, and my black Lull P4 with flatwounds Saturday night. Both shows were in Illinois. Friday night was in front of 4,000, opening for Kane Brown. Got some decent pics from both shows. Those two P4's are such nice, solid workhorses.

Yep, Sherwood Green and ebony. I was just playing it this evening and it's absolutely wonderful!

I just got photos of my new Lull short scale P bass today. It is going to ship on Friday. I am very stoked, to say the least. A total girl bass. I don't expect any of you boys to like my color choices. I am way into abalone - it is a mollusk that defines the region that I call home.

Just got this M5V in transparent blue. Took her on her maiden voyage last night. Solid bass. Love the light weight. Very happy with this bass. My only gripe is that I wish it had a passive tone control. Anyone out there have an M5V with passive tone control?
