The Mike Lull Club Part 4

This Lull P4 gets the job done in spades every time! Played it on a country band gig Friday night, backing a choral ensemble yesterday, and church service this morning. It finds a perfect spot in every mix in which I put it!

That's a killer looking P. B bridge. Classic look.

Huge thanks to bdgotoh for entrusting me with the ownership of a couple of his prized Lulls.
2018 P4 - Mahogany/Ebony with a Lollar High Wind
2012 PT4 - Mahogany/Rosewood with an unmarked board.
If you're ever looking at buying something he has for sale, don't hesitate.
Thanks again BD!

Oh, so you're the person that bought the green P4. Nice. Very nice. I'm also a @bdgotoh fan. His feedback history on TB should just be a notarized gold seal of assurance. Awesome guy.

Absolutely spot on.
I also picked up an amazing '97 G&L L2000 from him as well - sub 9lb ash!
At this point, a passive single coil sounds anemic to my ears :roflmao:
I see he's got a couple of Lulls for sale right now.
I really dig that sparkle P4 - Brazilian board! :bassist: :hyper:

Love that matte (or is it satin?) black. Beautiful fretboard too.
I think it's just described as 'Matte Black' ...The fretboard is roasted in Gracias

I was in the shop yesterday and saw @TonyP-'s new PJ5 on the wall. It's gorgeous!

I was in there yesterday as well! And I saw Tony's bass in person also, of course - gorgeous. I played the fiesta red V4 with the Nordstrand pickups (thick and meaty tone!) and the Fireglow V4 also - gorgeous! Mainly I was there to thank Spencer in person for the PT4-30 I bought in December and tell him about the P5 recently picked up here in the classifieds. I'm officially a Luller now! I think I've posted this pic before, but here they are again:

I have been very impressed by Lull basses, and by Spencer and the shop in general. I'm late to the party around here, I know, but I'm very glad to have finally discovered this great shop!

It was hard for me to put the Fireglo V4 back on the wall. Someone needs to buy that thing before my bank account knows what I'm doing!

I was asked about what's up with the new basses. Well I Be contributing to some demo videos and I'm looking to have some thing a little bit more traditional yet still allow Lull for them.

I'm looking forward to this modern twist of familiar designs to the stable. I'm still playing the hell out of my 3 signature basses.
