The Mike Lull Club

Sweet, I have a PJ5 on the way with Duncan and Aggie with the J in the 70's position. That wait is killing me.

I'm sure it'll be killer! I love the way a little bump of the bass control brings out major thump in these basses! The P pickup is great sounding soloed, but the J adds that burpy, happenin' finger-funk thing that I can't get enough of. And it slaps great, too! :D

Well, I said when I joined the club earlier that I would post some pics of my two Lull's, so here they are. I thought I would mainly put in some pics of my PJ/JJ changeable M5V, since Mike did such a nice job with the quick connect system and everything else. I will post a few more pics in a second.

Real nice quilted Lull!
Great guard pup too!

That quick connect system is a great feature.

Is that an option or a retrofit on all Lull's ??

I called up Mike and asked him if he would be willing to make a PJ/JJ for me with a quick connect system. I had owned a Sadowsky with the setup and really loved it but the Sad just was not the right bass for me. He was happy to do it and the up charge for the work was very reasonable (including everything the P pickup and rooting). The quick connect system he was happy to do, and he decided on what it would actually look like and how it would work. when it came it was obviously very well done.

Mike was great to work with on this bass and was happy to make the instrument I wanted.
