The Phasor III is pretty great. I grabbed one a couple of weeks ago. Its become my favorite and most used effect... Stage 4 with fuzz is addictive.

That's what I was hoping to hear. Your demos of the Phasor clones you built are what got me interested in the circuit to begin with.

I picked up a used Octavider at a great price. It might be my favourite octave pedal now.
As someone who has one of your clones (priced more than any of the Mutrons) and all the Mutrons, don’t be ridiculous.

I just bought a scratch-n-dent Phaser III from Mutron.
I got my Scratch & Dent Phasor III today, and the cosmetic defects are negligible. I’ve seen worse on pedals sold as New.
Alas, didn’t get a chance to plug it in yet, but I did get the chance to pick up a Moog EP-3, which I’m hoping will work well with the Phasor’s CV In.

I need a 1/8" TRS cable to use the EP-3 with the Phasor, so that's a bust (for now).
I find the Phasor is too subtle in 4-stage mode (why does the Feedback control only work in 6-stage?), but 6-stage sounds great.
I opened it up out of curiosity, and it has 5 trimpots inside. Anyone know what these do? I'm not going to mess with them, but I wonder what they would affect. @johnk_10 do your Phasors have the same trimpots?

nope. just two for calibrating it, the same as the original Phasor II. i wouldn't recommend adjusting them.
Just arrived… couldn’t find any evidence of a dent or a scratch.

Thinking of swapping my Wonderlove for a MicroTron. The simplicity and space savings are tempting. Losing an FX loop is definitely something, but it's hard to say how much I'm going to use the octave fuzz filter thing in my next band anyway. Besides I'll still have octave, fuzz, and a filter on the board, so maybe losing out on the last 10% of the tone by switching from a Wonderlove to the Tron isn't a big deal anyway.
The black ones are hot, but I'm not sure they're worth a 10% premium for me.
