Double Bass the new AI Ten2

Fresh on the AI Wagon. I play multiple instruments in a worship choir and setting up a seperate bass rig plus an acoustic rig for mandolin and uke was taking all the fun out of the music. AI perked my interest several years back and it finally made sense. I picked up a Clarus 2R SE from Island Music last weekend (great guy that Mike). My WOW Factor shot up significantly last Sunday when I heard both my bass and my mandolin sound like never before through 1 rig !! I'm pairing the head with an Accugroove Tri110L cabinet which is a pretty balanced cab. Being a sucker for marketing, my GAS meter is directing my cranium toward one of the Ten2 Cabrio cabs thinking it may be possible to satisfy my ears with one trip from the car ????
Sounds like you're thinking about this right to me. I love my Ten2. My archtop guitar sounds just killer wonderful through it, among other things, and I've used it for my electric/acoustic mando, my keyboard, my upright, my electric bass. It's pretty wonderful to know that the amp can handle anything you throw at it, and what you get out of it will be just what you put into it, only louder. The only gotcha is that if you like what your current cabinet does to your sound, you'll be missing that with the AI cabinet, which is decidedly neutral - you might end up needing to fix that via eq or some sort of emulator or effect.
