According to a recent interview with Belew, they're recording all six nights with the goal of releasing a live album. Woo-hoo!

Haha. Yeah, every time I've seen her play -- which has been many, many times in various contexts -- half of me comes away totally inspired, while the other half comes away wanting to pile up all my gear in the backyard and make a bonfire. So far the former half has won out each time, but it's always been a close call!

The Adrian Belew Power Trio will be playing this Friday (September 8) at the Sweetwater Performance Pavilion in Fort Wayne. Julie will be on bass, but evidently Tobias Ralph couldn't make the gig and so Kris Myers of Umphrey’s McGee will be behind the drum kit.
