Good game in LA so far. That goal from Kopitar was beautiful, as was the pass from Brown to set it up.
I hope Phoenix can make this a series. It would be a bummer to have them get blown out at this point.

My problem is on the other foot. When will the NHL allow teams to go over the cap w/o penalty match KHL free agent contracts? The Wings lost Jiri Huddler after a 57 point season to a KHL team as a restricted free agent, not only were they not able to go over the cap to match the contract, they received no compensation.
I get the Salary cap, but in this case a team was penalized for good cap management and even better playing development.

I never said solely, but I think La and Jersey are alot farther then any if us thought at the beginning of the playoffs and thier goalies have been hot giving them a chance and deserve alot of credit for where they are.
