I don't rank first and second. Hockey is my favorite sport, and the flyers are my favorite team that plays that sport. I watch a few others that I want to watch but manly I catch up on nhl network everyday. Don't watch sportscenter,nhl network us on tv all day long.

I download Flyers games. There is all this talk of being a hockey fan first,....bollocks to that. Yes hockey is my favorite sport,...and the Flyers are my favorite team. I could give a crap about the rest of the NHL. That's probably just my holier than thou attitude.

I'll have to agree with Mono Sodium Glutamate's commentary that Doobie didn't deserve a Game Misconduct for the 3rd man in. I don't really care for Dubinsky,....but Crackner was unloading on Boyle (not that I give a crap about him either) and Doobs was coming to his aid. 3rd man in is; to my knowledge, is when two opposing players are squaring off gloves dropped about to fight.

Haglin (sp?),...elbows down douchebag.

I do find it interesting that; as pointed out by others in this thread, the series that is supposed to have all the fireworks is doing so without altercations. Yes there is a little pushing and shoving,...but the rivalry is being expressed with physical play,...not cheap shots. Although I can't say that that will continue throughout the series but we will see. I'm still a little unhappy with Giroux kicking at an opposing player. He didn't make contact,...but that's still not cool.

Malkin totally deserved a tripping call on Coburn. There was another trip that didn't get called later in the game. I think it was Dupuis on Read,....but honestly can't recall at the moment. Eh,...it's the Playoffs,....Refs have a habit of swallowing their whistles.

Wow, Penguins turn into a bunch a gutless cheap shot taking cry babies who fall apart because of two goals. Asham is a waste of air. When he comes back from a suspension i hope someone beaks his back they hit him so hard.

And crosby should be careful talking this much smack. Hes the one instigating everything. He should be careful, he may get another 10 months off to heal up. We should bring up shelly for one game just to take his head off, then go enjoy his suspension in the islands somewhere.

The talking, chopping, checking, pushing, and shoving is going on from both teams. Neither of these teams deserve any good sportsmanship awards after this game. This is what many people expected from this series, so here it is.

Asham crossed the line and is easily the biggest offender today. Schenn made a great and legal hit, too bad Asham did what he did. Good thing Schenn is back on the ice playing well. You Flyer guys know Asham well, so don't act like you're surprised by it.

Flyers are playing smart hockey right now with this three goal lead. If they have a good chance, take it and go on offense, otherwise, dump, go for the quick line change, and defend. They are not pressing for anything that's not there and giving the Penguins a chance to go for a break up ice for a quick score. Solid defensive play right now.

If I turned this on with no idea of the score, I would swear the Flyers are down three goals. Maybe the Pens are fixing games? Kidding, kidding.....

I got nothing guys, the Pens checked out after game one and have yet to return. Philly has something to prove, and they are leaving no doubt.
