So you went back and watched the game again to see if you could nit pick out any hits that you could deem questionable? That's... interesting.

I got the same feeling. Whatever floats your boat I guess.

I went back and viewed the game to see what happened to Grossman along with some other things that went on with certain players if I could (Read's poor defensive lapses, Bryzgalov's very slow side to side moves, and the Rinaldo meltdown were the others). I like analyzing the games when I get a chance and did this time.

I reported what I saw about Grossman and how I believe he got his bell rung. He is day to day questionable now with the classic "upper body injury."

Read was out there trying to be a young hero in the game a bit off more than he could chew and at one point early in the game before Malkin's goal you could even hear the announcers saying the entire Philadelphia bench was yelling at him to ge off the bench. He was a 4th forward on the ice during a power play for Philadelphia and tried to play defense on Malkin and it led directly to Malkin's goal or at least Malkin assisted on it (I forget I'm not looking at the DVR right now).

Bryzgalov is reported on the Philly boards to be suffering some phantom hip injury. Watching the game, it looks like his broken foot may be bothering him more than any hip might. I haven't seen anything that stands out other than he may have taken a shot off it the wrong way sometime, could have even been in practice.

Rinaldo? Well, let's hope he's scratched tonight. He's said he's not remorseful for what he did and admits Michalek didn't do anything deserving of the punishment he dished out. Zac lost control pure and simple and got lucky with no suspension involved.

We OK?

I did not like Rinaldo's explanation at all

no remorse for leaving his team shorthanded for 4 minutes

JVR says he's ready so let's hope he's in and Rinaldo is out

Bryz looked shaky last game and slow side to side
He is my only concern

Back at the Console tonight - should be a win!
