Where'd all the guys who bought Knuckle Quake basses ~5-10 years ago go? (Or, has anyone bought the new Kalium version of the Quake yet?) Surely some of those were 4-strings, no?

I only found 1 Nuckle Quake Bass that was 4 string w 40" scale. Seems most of their builds were/are 5 and 6 string super long scale's. They are quite expensive.

I've got a timeline on my next 4-string 35".
I'm at the end of the queue for the next round of Lowdownbass' construction. No date is set in stone, but hopefully around April I'll have a 35" Mudbucker Telebass styled instrument with two darkstar pickups. Mahogany top and back with a lightweight (possibly Chambered) core, and a lighter colored wood pickguard. Target weight of 8 pounds.

Picked out the Mahogany last month.

Put the downpayment. It's still going to be a long timeline with April or May for delivery, but I'm patient.
Below is the mahogany with a possible fingerboard I like the grain, but I'm not thrilled with the lighter colored edge at the top. We'll find out shortly if it would be present on the cut fingerboard.

Love my US Millenniums. 35 inch necks with graphite rods. Active pickups. Three band eq with sweepable mid. The sweepable mid control is finicky as ****, but once you get it dialed in....

I'm getting the idea that the Millenium comes in a few different flavors? Are all the Peavey G and Millenium basses in 4 string version 35"?

You know, I thought that too when you first mentioned it but the more I think about it your fretboard would be so much more unique than the 'normal' grain if you left the lighter part in.
