I have a 2-Pro. It's an incredible amp and you can find good deals on them. Get one.

Hey, I've started playing with a Reggae band and I'm thinking I'll need more rig than what I use in my other bands -a PF50T or PF350 into to 2 x 210AV cabs.

I still have an SVT-15EN and an SVT-210E (classic cabs) which I used to stack before I got the 210AVs. Despite what the mixed driver police will say, the 2 classic cabs do work well together. I could also look out for another SVT-15EN.

But the 210AVs are so light! It's tempting to look at adding another 1 or 2 210AVs. I could easily make up a serial/parallel box to get 4 to work at 8 ohms with the PF-50T.
Or I could run one amp into each set. I also have a couple of power amps I could use.

Lot's of options, but what I'm wondering:
Has anyone actually run 4 x 210AVs?
Would 4 of them give me enough low end?

I never have done 4, but I can tell you right now that you want the 210he and 115e for reggae over the 210av's. Reggae wants big fat low end at a decent volume. Most of the reggae bassists I've worked with turn up the bass all the way and turn down everything else all the way, so you need cabs you can work harder than the 210av's.

Yeah I love those little cabs, but it would also suck to start blowing drivers by pumping too much bass into them!

They can pump out some bass, just not at any kind of volume. Here in my practice room, they sound great. I used them once on a gig, and they just couldn't keep up.

I've used them on a number of gigs and they've been fine. But stage volume for both those bands is relatively low.
Do you run 2 x 115HE's? Or am I thinking of someone else?

Got to play my new SVT classic this weekend. I still need to tweek the mids a bit (I had only used it in my 10x12 office until then), but I'm sure it's a permanent part of my rig now.
Mostly played my Spector, which is thunderous with the SVT.
