I've got a pair of the Neo 212s, and I like them a lot. It's a bulky cab relative to a lot of 212s, but it's light. They have have a great bottom to them, very solid and transparent without being boomy. My only complaint is that they're 4ohm cabs, meaning I can't use both of them at the same time with a lot of recent class D amps out there.

Yup, I might have to consider picking this one up! I have been dragging my feet because I need an amp that can go down to at least 2.67 ohms, and the 500 didn't have enough power (or the drive control)
Exactly! Logically, they should call it the Reidmar 752. I note, however, that those pictures sure look like the two-ohm symbol was hastily photoshopped onto the photo (the perspective is wrong). How real is this?

It is from the EBS Sweden official Instagram... It is possible that they photoshopped it to make the announcement before having the final amp enclosures finished and ready

heck, according to the 752 manual, the pre-eq DI is still pre-gain. no clue, why they're doing it, but the pre-gain signal is just too quiet for me. it seems that I'll eventually swap my 750 for a 502.

also one more thing in 752's manual:
POWER AMP: Output Power
@2 ohms 750 W RMS
@4 ohms 450 W RMS
@8 ohms 230 W RMS

the 750 was rated 700W RMS in four ohms

So i acquired this little practice rig.

Thing is: i am not sure of the signal chain. "Traveling salesman problem" and "combinatorial explosion" comes to mind.

The rig consists of a pedal board with Microbass3, Octabass, DPhaser, BassIQ and UniChorus, Reidmar 500, and a Neoline112.

On the pedal board (Pedaltrain Nano with Cioks 4) the Octabass is first (for better tracking) and the UniChorus is last (for stereo) in the effekts- loop of the Microbass 3.

The signal chain is currently: Bass - Microbass3 input - Microbass3 Effects loop - Microbass3 output - Reidmar 500 Effects return - Reidmar 500 speaker out - Neoline112.

How would you connect these components?

As i understand it the current signal chain bypasses the preamp in the Reidmar completely. The same signal goes to headphones, FOH and to the 112. (In different settings).

An option is maybe "stacked effects-loops": Bass - Reidmar input - Reidmar effect send - Octabass - Microbass3 input - Microbass3 effect send - Dphaser - BassIQ - UniChorus - Microbass3 effect return - Microbass3 output - Reidmar effect return.

Anyone hold a Reidmar 750 (why on the official website is reported as 752 only?) or Reidmar 502?
Is it possibile to connect tuner somewhere in the back?
Also how loud is the fan?
Is it always on?

I have both 750 and 502. There’s a line out on both, but muting the speaker and DI while tuning is not possible AFAIK.

Fan is always on, on my 750 is was loud, so I replaced it with a quieter one. On 502 it’s quieter and not an issue for me.

Hello!

I am looking for a replacement tweeter for my Drome 12 combo. This is the original model, not the Classic or Neo.

I contacted EBS and they told me the Drome 12 came with a Motorola (CTS) KSN1167A tweeter. EBS no longer has this part in stock but says any similar piezo tweeter will work.

I am not finding the original Motorola model when I search online. Does anyone know if it is still available? If not, can anyone recommend a suitable replacement? My understanding is that piezo tweeters are very inexpensive.

Thanks!

lately I have been using the fx return of my amp from the MB3, to minimize extra gains. The loops in my pjb amps, however are between the input gain and eq, so its handy for a little room eqing and also the fab limiter. I put all my fx in the MB3 loop and use both inputs. Its a handy, great sounding unit!!

Neoline is the lighter for the case and speaker
But handle higher power if my memory correct.

Proline got more low mid and punch
(One produce before 2014 are made with spruce which is the real deal)
If you after mm 's tone
Thats the one

Classic should be a close back which to match their full Tube amp
