So, just to keep this thread alive, I gotta say that I'm really loving this bass! Very versatile, very comfortable... it just feels & sounds "right."

I have to agree that's a really nice P bass sound! When I had my custom Jake made I don't think they had their own pickups yet or there weren't lots of demos so I got mine with Delano pickups (which also are great don't get me wrong), but I wouldn't have bothered with the upcharge for the more expensive pickups after hearing that demo because that's one great sounding split coil.

edit: they don't make a 5-string split coil according to the configurator so I guess that would have been out of the question.

Hey FF, is there any sort of radius or chamfer or the likes on the edge where your forearm would rest on the JokerB (and chance of posting a few body line/contour pics) - I am gas'n bad for this gorgeous bass but I just know I could not handle my forearm on a firm or sharp edge.

It does indeed have a sharp edge caused by the binding......

I, personally, haven't found it to be much of a problem although I used to wear a sweat band thingy on my wrist....Just in case....

My first post in this thread!
I am in the process of ordering my first Maruszczyk but I noticed something that concerned me. I noticed on some basses that the lowest (E or B) string doesn't wrap around the tuning head "straight across" but is tilted a bit towards the higher string.

Anyone having this issue on your Maruszczyk? Does this causes any problems?
