The weight really surprised me. And it's the stock bridge.

Every time I use the configuration tool on the Public Peace website I always select the stock bridge. It looks like the ABM bridges that is used on the Sandberg's.

i guess my opinion is just worth what it's worth (probably not much lol) but there's virtually no difference between the two. Sound-wise. To my ears.

I play in a cover band, so no recording. But the B on mine is really good and the neck plays very nice. Nicer to play than my Sire P7 5 string and on par with my German Warwick Corvette. Great tone, it's just a really nice bass overall. Probably around 8.5-9 pounds, so not at all heavy for a fiver. I have 7 five strings and it is my favorite for sure.

Frankly, I am so massively impressed by the instrument that I have begun rerecording all my bass parts for our upcoming album - it truly sounds that much better than what I used previously!

I speced my Elwood out to be a hard rock(!) machine, but despite its passive layout, it's actually really versatile. Here, three months into my Marusczcyk ownership, I am still absolutely smitten with my Elwood - Adrian's video should give you a pretty good idea why:

Wow, did not know Maruszczyk had a multiscale option. I can see why you're smitten and like the tone of those Delano DSlant-X. What is the scale length of the lowest and highest strings?

The fan is a fairly modest 32.5-34.5"... But it sounds absolutely brilliant on the low B (I tune BEAD - poor man's 5-string). It is hard to know which element does what. However, the combination the woods, the carbon rods in the neck, the scale lenght(s) and the Delano DSlant X set is utterly brilliant for what I need in a bass.

Thanks man.
I haven't measured it, but it fits neatly inside my gigbag and certainly doesn't feel any longer than my Jazz Bass (which is what really matters). Hence, if it is longer, it's only by a decidedly small fraction.

Not 100% sure but i'm gonna guess that the shape and size doesn't change for only 0,25 inch. So more than likely identical to a "normal" bass.

So I'm thinking about ordering a Mr. Tee. Like the pic above but with black hardware. I'm leaning towards a 30" scale, hollowbody, fretless. Has anyone here tried the hollowbody version? I'm looking for a nice woody almost upright tone. My dream base is Rob Allen Mouse but I can't justify spending that much. The Mr. Tee looks like it would come in under 2K and I actually think it is nicer looking then the Mouse. Any advise on whether this base and configuration would work for me would very appreciated. Thanks
