I have not yet played one, but have also been tempted by the hollow body version ever since Adrian introduced Mr Tee in the first video (which I assume you have watched?).
My two cents:
I am not sure how "hollow" the body actually is and whether it has a significant effect on the tone.
As mentioned previously in this thread, the tele style headstock is quite long. If you go short scale, this might influence the aesthetics. I therefore chose the medium scale version.
In any case, ask Adrian your questions and let him know what you are looking for in your own Mr Tee. He is very helpful and capable.
Not bashing Maruszczyk design.
Problem 1:
One amazing thing about Rob Allen basses is the LaBella strings through the Fishman bridge. I've owned 2 RA basses with magnetic+piezo pickups. The piezo+strings+construction=magic. Magnetic+strings+construction, not so much magic.
Problem 2:
Just eye balling it, hollow, bridge design/placement, and short horn is going to lead to more of a first position reach and possible neck dive. Rob's basses have the saddle about as far back as anything I have ever seen on the market. This allows the headstock to be closer in relation to the top horn. The reach issue is probably limited to short guys like me. I owned a Fender Urge bass, which was 32" scale and a 35" scale Rob Allen MB2 had the same reach, which threw me off until I put it all together.
Nothing wrong with a semi-hollow fretless P bass. I don't think this will be a realistic alternative to the Mouse 30.
I agree this is comparing apples and oranges.
Regarding reach, the first frets do not feel further away on my med scale than on a regular 34 inch scale bass with an upper horn. It is also possible to "push" the body further to the right than you may assume.
Thanks to the medium scale length and Hipshot ultralight tuners, there is also practically no neck dive.
Since @Rich48 is even planning to go short scale, these will be no issues at all.
Then again, the Mr Tee will be a complete different animal than the Mouse.
I mostly play guitar these days. When switching from a Strat shaped guitar to a Tele, I find myself pushing the guitar to the right a lot to get the neck where it usually hangs on my other guitars. After a long time, it starts to annoy me. To be honest, the only reason I have a Tele shaped guitar is for an internal B-Bender, which is attached to the strap button and actuated when I tug on the neck.
Its all about personal preferences. I also play guitar occasionally and have no problems switching from strat to tele. Ymmv.

I love the Strat-o-Tele type mashups. For the strap button systems, they all seem to be designed around the Tele.
I recently added a lever to the G string made by Rolling Bender. I don't think it was available when I ordered this guitar. It's nice in the sense that it doesn't require a specific shape and doesn't require the extensive routing/surgery. The internal system has some metal bars that add a lot of weight, too. The downside is that the lever and cam angle makes slow bending somewhat tricky.
Not mine, but at some point, I might try to snag a Duesenberg multi-bender and install it in a Thinline Tele/Strat mashup with P90s.
As a short guy, perhaps the neck placement becomes more noticeable. It could also be due to the fact that I spend most of my time on Strat and other long horn guitars.

I'm considering the Frog headless (and fretless) even, but I'm wondering what kind of strings it'll take. Ultimately, I'll want TI flats on it, but I'm under the impression that headless basses always need double ball end strings. Does anyone know if conventional strings work on them? This could be a potential deal breaker on the headless variant for me.

Conventional strings work fine. They get tightened down with socket headed cap screws and then clipped off.
Got bad GAS and I decided to part with the Elwood I was so eagerly awaiting to be built by Adrian. Unfortunately I can't keep this and Sadowsky NYC so If anyone is interested in buying it off of me, I'll be glad to work out a deal and find a new home for this beauty. Sofa shot is in my avatar. I just got delivered a new Headless Frog for a customer and "normal" strings work fine.

To my ears there's virtually zero difference between solid body or "hollowed / Chambered" instrument , as it's still not big enough to resonate. However that's only my 3 cents.

Is it an issue? It very very depends on what and how you play. Wanna play Jaco? forget about it. you need to hold the neck and you won't be able to play too fast.
I play (a lot) in an Allman brothers tribute band. I'll play blues and slow rock or simple lines with that bass. When it comes to more complex and faster songs, I'll use my Jake or I'll kill my left wrist.
That being said, neck feels lovely and the fact that I play "horizontal" looks great (that's what people say, that AC/DC touch/look

I haven't had many experience with mr Tee. However my guess is strap lock at 17th fret rather than around 12/14 on many many builds and models. Enjoy your new bass. I had a Jake with identical pickups that literally sounded absolutely sick.
