Isn't a six stringer just a deep talkin' geeetar?....That would be awesome. Especially if they add a 6-string option in the configurator, though that might feed my GAS to a point it becomes too hard to resist.![]()

Did that with my first one.......Now, I wanna mess around with it on the configurator first....Then go for it. Write down your specs and send Adrian an email.![]()
I'm old.....I need it now........
I'll be pushing up daisies before the Joker bass hits the configurator, and even deader by the time it'll get built...

Woah! Either your bridge choice, hard case and electronics are where the bulk of the cost difference is or that neck wasn't cheap.
So, yesterday I went by to Public Peace again to pick up one of the basses the shop had for sale .... a Duesenberg D bass, always wanted one but almost impossible to buy one domestically in the states ..... I probably spent 2 hours there just hanging with Adrian and talking about all things bass and some of our favorite players ....
As I'm trying the D bass out, Adrian grabs his Svaboda and we jam for a bit .... how surreal that moment was.
I STRONGLY URGE any of you who find yourself traveling through Germany, especially the Cologne / Aachen region to email Adrian for a visit, I can only imagine he's as gracious to all his guests. Plus, the property his studio / shop is on, is beyond serene.
And I'll soon place an order for an olive green absolution and pick it up on one of the next business trips I have in the area ....
Here's the Duesenberg:

Beautiful bass and even better experience with Adrian!
Assuming you have a CITES certificate for the rosewood?
Well I can now officially become a member of another pretty exclusive, cool bass owner club thanks to Mr. @TonyRo
Love how this one plays and sounds! And with that zero fret the action is now oh-so-lowwith some amazing tone options - harmonics just sing as well.

I found a German Streamer LX5 for $1300 new, so it wasn't too bad of a beating to route out the body a bit and buy/install the BigBladeMen and the the JC-3b preamp.Love that Streamer, now I'm on the hunt for one after playing it![]()

My unfathomable GAS for more maruszczyk has been eating away from me for a long time and that online configurator wasn't doing me any good so I just put my order in for my second Maruszczyk bass! My first, a gorgeous Frog 5 string fretless bass and now an Elwood 5L
Specs:
Alder body
Burl maple top
Roasted birdseye maple neck and fingerboard
Haussel bassbars with burl maple covers
Delano sonar 3 preamp
Black hipshot hardware
2 tone turquoise blue
Can't wait!!

I'm gonna go check to see if it's here yet
I've literally just placed the order today and I'm already playing around with the configurator for the next oneThe configurator makes it hard. I keep messing with it while I wait on my order and I'm already considering the next one
Is your Frog a 32" by any chance? I want to know if anyone has done the 32" 5er and how the B feels.
