There you can see, that Public Peace is a Family Business. The Ladies who are takling the couch shot, or fill out the certificate, are Adrians Daughters. Visiting Adrian is always nice. BTW...it's been a while. I have to visit them again.

Damn, how have we not crossed paths in Greenpoint? I was born there and lived for 37 years, I left 10 years ago (though I was in Greenpoint 2 weeks ago).
Where exactly is your studio? You can PM me if you was to keep that relatively quiet…unless it is already common knowledge.

I noticed those posters immediately. Those types of posters are ubiquitous in just about every "European-owned" mechanics shop, especially in NYC …

In Eastern Europe, those "lawsuits waiting to happen" are basically "if you hurt yourself whilst coming in contact with this, you're a dumbass and you most likely got what you deserve".

Exactly.

I spent a summer in Brazil in 1991. One day I was helping to set up a Christian camp where there was a building, and nearby power lines, but the power had to be strung from the lines to the building. There were bare spots on the overhead lines, offset by a few feet so they wouldn't accidentally brush against each other if it got windy. My job was to run power to the building. To do that, I was given wire, a ladder, and pliers with plastic handles. Simple job, I just had to wrap the ends of the wire around the bare spots of the power lines, then run the wire to the building.

Most Americans would flip out if they saw something like that, but I find that look-out-for-your-own-self approach kinda refreshing.

This may be my first Frog but it won't be my last.
Special "thank you" to David Sutkin for the incredible deal on this killer bass and for getting me hooked on Frogs! You are so right about how great they are.

Is that an eye-poplar top? I love the way it transitions, it looks like an ocean reef.

And that's an amazing array of basses & amps behind that Frog.
