I presume you mean a standard 5-string tuning dropped a whole tone, right? Meaty! Might try that out tonight and report back, with any luck, the ash will keep it tight enough to be practical. (Ash/burl maple + ash/mac ebony.)I was talking to Vic about this, and what would be the "ideal" rock-type setup for an MTD?
At least in drop D, sometimes in full D (ADGCF)
my mtd 635-24 ! got this bass from fellow tb member and he told me that the first and original owner of this bass is Adrian Garcia(RIP)

+1 (535). Played mine last night and the night before. I'm blown away by this one in particular. Wow.im happy with my 635 mtd and its a keeper!
