The Official MTD USA Thread

I just sent Mike an empty case to ship back to me with my new 535 inside (he is waiting on a new shipment of cases, and I didn't want to wait :smug:). Needless to say, I am looking forward to this new delivery, and I'll be sure to share pics when it comes in.
I was wondering when you might chime in. :)

Folks, hang onto your hats. It's a special one. Ok, they're all special, but this one is particularly special. :)

I've searched around and can't seem to locate a USA MTD J5 (34" scale) for sale anywhere... Of course, I could try and order a new one from Mr. T but was wondering if anyone here knows where one is for sale or possibly even a trade? Thanks in advance ;)
Make sure to also search for "Saratoga". I believe that's what the product was renamed early on. Just note he also had (still has?) an import model by that name, so make sure you get the right one when dealing with someone. :)

Thx Vic, knew I could count on ya ;) Yes, there have been some debates on what to call this one so I played it safe with the "J5"... I have searched for it under Saratoga as well and no US models for sale to be found :atoz: Thanks again!

Yeah, they are kinda' rare, but at least you're covering all the search terms now. Oh well.
