A great bass to check is the Foundation V with soapbars. It actually sounds very close to a Cirrus, but with a 34" scale. They can be had super cheap too, very often under $200!

...I can't decide if I want to change out my p'ups or sell my Dyna-Bass Unity...
They do look good in red.One of the rarebird red T-40's is on the 'bay right now. I think the asking price may be a bit high, but you never know with a hard to find color.

Member as of today! $200 Combo 300. I don't think I could have gotten this much volume at this price with any other amp. Only thing is it weighs too much for me to carry alone.

You can get a pair of them for $27 if you hurry. ( it does come with a neck, body and tuners. No unweildly strings tho)The cheaper one doesn't have strings on it in the photo, though, making one leery. I'm surprised the other one is in $200+ range, though. Maybe we're driving up values with our Peavey praise!
I'm digging my Fury, I think I'd like a Super Ferrite equipped Foundation.

To the best of my knowledge, there was natural ash, black, white, red, sunburst and I've seen a blue one, but I couldn't say for sure whether it's factory or not. What were all the color they came in? I/m probably going to paint mine, and would like to know the factory colors.
