How do you guys think a single 1515L cab would work with a Markbass LMII ? The one thing about the 1515L is that it does not have a tweeter. Now I'm not a big treble fan so I'm wondering how a cab would sound without a tweeter ?

I will be finding out this weekend!! I just got my 1515L, it will make its debut at a few gigs this weekend and I'll report...FWIW-the 15's Jorg is using are really responsive and super quick, they have a nice top end to them, I don't think I'll be missing the horn too much. :D
I guess if I'm ever missing the horn I'll just use my 1212L, or stack the two cabs together and decimate everything around me...

Morris beat me to the stack configuration, but I differ in that my 1212R and custom-sized 15L cabinets are both 4 ohms; currently pumping out 800 watts at 2 ohms courtesy of a Carvin B800 + SansAmp VT Bass:

I could hear just fine. In fact, the bass created a kind of surround-sound which enveloped the entire band in a big cushion of sound. The main thing is it wasn't unbearably loud. When I strolled out in front during a tune this effect broke down and the mix was about perfect. It is easier for me to hear my amp when it's a little further away than when I'm on top of it.

Keep in mind that everything has to be loaded on a ferry, carted across the island to the ocean side and dragged up a flight of stairs. The Schroeder 410L was a life-saver!

:hyper: I have a 21012L coming next week!!! :hyper:

I want to go ahead and get a cover for it. Are there any particular cheap places online to buy a Schroeder cover.
Regular vinyl is fine, but I prefer padded.

Also, the seller says it has the caster inserts on the bottom, but no casters. Anyone know what size? I can figure it out when I get it I guess.

I've already tried this model cabinet with my LMII. I think this will do me for awhile! ......now I guess I'll browse the Bass instrument threads......:)

Why not just get one from Schroeder? It's $75.00 but I feel like it really does protect the cab. The Schroeder cover is well padded. I guess you could have one custom-made, but after shipping and all I'm not sure how much money you'd save.
I sprung for it even though I got the Rhino covering, just for protection while transporting and handling. You never know...and I think I'll be keeping my 410L for a while.
