I was waiting for a full blown gig to chime in about my 1215L, but here goes...

In a word, YES. YES YES YES. I previously used a 1212L and was really blown away by the sound for pound. No compromise, big surprise! It could have been the end of the story until I heard about a 15 option. I was a 15 guy for decades using EVM's and Bag End.

My 1215L is just what I predicted it would be. I am running a Walkabout head with a 4 ohm cab. I'm lousy at writing about sound, but it has all the qualities I liked about the 1212L with added...thickness. You won't get any sub woof going this route, but it really does add beef while retaining the tightness. This is exactly what I was looking for so I'm a happy guy. It is 2" taller and slightly heavier than my 1212L was. I will post a photo, swear.

So I am guessing the 1515L would be that much thicker?

A pair of 15s sounds interesting (pun intended).However, I recently (briefly) considered going to a pair of 8 Ohm cabs and parting with my 1212L/4 Ohm, but then realized I'd be fixing what ain't broke. I'll stick with the 1212L (4 Ohm) and 115 (8 Ohm) stack. Modular and thunderous. I believe I may actually be out of GAS. Feels strange and good. Heaven, as the T. Heads sang, is a place where nothing ever happens

Yeah, a 1212 AND a 15 would have to be fulfilling! I have crossed over into the Old Guy Zone where gravity is increased exponentially X age. Less is even more than ever in my case.

You can see the 15 just fits in the box. Included is a very small dog for scale and cuteness. I also went nuts and had Jorg add the telescoping handle too. It will come in handy, but it can be rattly. I really think I'm done. Except for some drinkholders. And a GPS.

I was thinking of getting one of those telescoping handle dealies. When you say rattle-y is that during when the cab is being used or when its being moved around?

I have the dolly for my 1212 but I took it off. It did not rattle at all, but in my superficial opinion, it looks like dinosaur excrement when on stage, sticking out from the side of the cab. It also prevents you from using a tight cover. The cab is light as it is. If I wasn't able to drive my gear around, however, it'd be a necessary evil.

It also prevents you from using a tight cover. The cab is light as it is. If I wasn't able to drive my gear around, however, it'd be a necessary evil.

I was worried about potential rattles and the potential inability to orientate the cab whatever way I wanted so I went for one of these [This invalid link has been removed] , does the trick nicely.

Wanna give you guys a heads up I need to move my 2 brand new series 3 410L and 1215L both 4 Ohm cabs immediately...Unexpected financial issue came up..

I played my first gig with the 21012L (previous desgin) and my LMII.

I'm very pleased. I can't believe how effecient this cab is. I didn't have my LMII past
9:30 on the master. Very pleasing sound, sat great in the mix. I think it improved
the sound of the entire band.
The tweeter sounds great. I like it about 30% on. The GS112's I was using were great cabs, but this cab is everything I wanted those to be.

I'll post a pic soon to get my club number. I'm done. I may want a 15L or 1212L for
smaller gigs, but the 21012 is only 50 lbs or so. I managed it well. I'm going to get casters too. Anyone know the size off-hand?

Hey Tony!! It is THE BEST rig that I've played through!! Also, my MTD sounded so ridiculously thick, I was blown away!!!

Actually to clear things up, I'm using a first generation 1212L with my 1515L, and it's smoking.....

Hi there..I'm late getting on here after having my Schroeder for about a year..
Awesome cab...
a 410L
powered by 1600W Crown with a SM400 preamp out into an ART Pro Channel.
Main bass is a early 80's Tokai body, Squier jazz neck, audere Z mode preamp, badass bridge, Dimarzio jazz p/u in bridge position and a Seymour Antiquity in Neck position....Thomastik Infeld jazz flats.
