I just sent Jorg my money order for a 1515L today. From my experiences with a shuttle 6 and 1212R, it wasnt the greatest combination... kind of holllow sounding. The schroeders sound best from a big full warm sounding amp. The LMII is a much better match in MY experience, because it is much fuller sounding. I'll be running my 1515L with my LMII. Should be thunderous.

Speaking of heads, what head or power/pre combo is everyone using with their Schroeder cabs and what cabs are you pairing them with that get you your favorite tone?
I use an Eden WT-405, which I would classify as a warmer sounding cab. It balances with the natural cutting ability of the Schroeders very nicely.
Anyone?

In fact, I might buy a wtx260 since it supposedly has the same pre as the 405. I've heard the wtx260 isnt super loud, but with a schroeder I'm sure it would be plenty loud.

Im using a LMII with my 1212L and an F1 with my 210212L and am very happy with both setups.I used a Stewart power amp/Demeter HBP1 for quite a while and loved it.But I really love the MB heads with the Schroeders,and like slinging a small amp bag much more than my old rack.

These 3 were/are my favorite pairings:
Carvin B1500 / Schroeder 410R or 410L
Carvin DCM1500 + Sansamp RBI / Schroeder 610L
GK MB2-500 - Schroeder 1212L
I'm loving my Trace Elliot V-Type with my 1212L. I've never had much luck with Eden stuff I've borrowed, too many knobs for me to twirl to find my tone. I like 'em simple

The 15 is front, the 12 is side firing. This baby is like a lethal weapon it's so loud.
With the 410L, I currently use a Crown XLS 602 bridged for 1600+W and for small gigs/backup an old SWR SM400.
I'm running my 1210L with an RBI and QSC PLX1602 power amp. I love it!!!! I'm going to try the 1210 with my GK700RB this weekend just for kicks. Who knows.....I may be looking for a 1001RB soon.
