Its going to be hard deciding which rig to use: my CMD121P + UL112 rig (which I absolutely love) or my new 1515L + LMII rig.

On a completely different note (!) - I used my Sterling-WT550-410L rig Wednesday evening at a small restaurant. I should have checked out the venue but it was a last-minute thing so I didn't get around to it. We set up while late dinners were still being served and started on time at 10:00PM. The owner told us to turn down more than once. The first time I just rolled back a little on the Sterling's volume, the second time on the amp. Now we were playing at such a low volume the PA was too loud, so we turned down the mains. I adjusted the Eden's Enhance knob, using it like a loudness control on a hi-fi amplifier. I actually enjoyed playing at this lower volume, and the MM-Eden-Schroeder rig sounded great! I guess I should have brought my WT400-2X10 rig, but I enjoyed having the seemingly unlimited headroom and also being able to use my picking attack to vary the volume. Plus, the 410L is about the same weight and only slightly larger!
Everybody said they enjoyed the low-volume gig, and I was able to walk out during the first set (I always use a wireless) and listen to the mix. It sounded very nice and even turned down, the Schroeder's projection cut through. It's really great to be able to have confidence in your equipment and just worry about playing.
Of course I'm sure GremlinAndy knows that!

Heh heh Don't you just know it... This rig is a result of being in bands where I can't make myself heard over the 2x412 guitar stacks. They're so used to having it all their own way, and aren't happy until the bass is reduced to an inaudible rattle. Well let them try now! I wanted the ability to make my point, and force them into conforming. I'll turn down when YOU *do*. Not only that, but I own the bands 23k PA. So I get to call the shots on how loud everyone is through that too. Aint NEVER gonna be drowned out again. LOL
If your band is that loud, I feel sympathetic for the audience members. Maybe they should hand out earplugs at the door.
It's not loud. It's about control. I have the ability to remind the guitars that they no longer rule the firmament. I would NEVER use it to deafen an audience. But I like to think I could if I wanted...

I can't help but smile to myself a bit though -- reading the Schroeder site, you see Jorg's original philisophy of creating one-cab, one-hand solutions that a bassist can get from car to stage in a single trip.
Well, I could not resist the urge to extend my perfectly adequate Schroeder 1212 into a Schroeder "stack," and I'm glad I ain't alone in my thinking!

I saw the WMD stack too and loved it, but I'm going the other way. I sold my 1212L, kept the 15+L and have a 12L (sans tweet) in the works. They're both 8 Ohm and will provide even more portability. Plus, with the 15 on end, the footprint is tiny. At my last gig I took the 1212 but didn't even use it. The 15 was more than enough on its' own. Also, FYI I traded my WT550 (no longer needed the 2 Ohm capability) for a GK mini head + cash. The GK is inherently scooped and seems to pair well with the Schro cabs, but I won't gig with this setup until 12/20 to know for sure.
Yeah, judging by their tone profiles the gk micro 500 would match up very well with schroeder cabs.

I've been a Schroeder guy for awhile now. Started with a 4-ohm 1210R, then moved to an 8-ohm Mini 12 L plus an 8-ohm Mini 12+L. The 2 x 12 mini stack should do well in mid-sized rooms where one of the Mini's can drive a smaller gig. Both are nice pairings with either an MB LMII or a G-K MB2-500.
Update on my personal Schro odyssey....
I love the (8 Ohm) 15+L so much that instead of pairing it with a 4 Ohm 1212L I sold that and am replacing it with an 8 Ohm 12L sans tweet. My rationale is that there'll be less 12 in the mix, since it'll now get half the power instead of .67. I still want it for the modularity and extreme portability. Anyway, I was practicing a few covers for an upcoming xmas gig and I have now delved into the realm of effects for poops and giggles, to thicken and vary the band's sound more. This has caused me to play with eq much more than in the past. I was playing Floyd covers and I used my outboard pre as a bass boost and mid cut pedal, along with an EBS chorus-wow. I heard big, billowing, amorphous low end that I never knew before in a Schro. I believe the 15+ CAN do dub-like tones, but I never sought them before. It certainly won't cut with these settings, but it'll be perfect for 2 or 3 out of our 40 song night. The whole experiment had me smiling and dreaming of a 1515
