I went from a 1212L to a 1215L. The 1212L is more focused, like a sonic laser, compared to the 1215L. You don't get a 1212 with additional woof, it is a tradeoff. I haven't gigged mine enough yet to decide one way or the other. In the test kitchens here at emblyCentral it sounds thicker and less honky than the 1212 did all by itself. The new titanium tweeter is smooth and natural.

What did you say Eric-Might have to speak up.You may be right,after 13 gigs,5 rehursals for our show,and weekend church services(4 per weekend) so far this month my ears could use a rest.

It should be here soon.I love the 1212L but sometimes look for more low end.Thought Id try this.I talked to Jorg several times about it before I pulled the trigger.He knows what sound I like and he has been dead on with the cabs Ive used so far.Lets chat soon!

I was wondering about this-if the 1215 was 1212L like with more booty.My sound seems to be moving more to a rounder warmer tone than in the past.Do you notice that much difference between the 1212 and the 1215?

I do, but I am working from memory. I wish I could A/B these 2 live.
Rounder and warmer are words that would apply to the 1215L. :)

hey- does anyone have a 1210l paired with either a 1215l or a 1515l? id like to be able to switch from a muddy/no-treble reggae sound to slap/whammy/hi-fi type stuff- and am not sure which of those cabs to add. how muddy is the 1515l? and- does it even matter- ie- will one tweeter be enough to keep things crisp? thanks in advance for any help- going to be getting this site-unseen/heard.

LM II thru a Mini 12 and I would love to have another Mini 12 if anyone wants to step up. One is really enough but I feel so guilty for not having to move a bunch of gear to get my sound(my poor drummer). I will post a pic, but it will be small and very light, as it should be.
