Hi Schroeder guys :-)

I'm normally a Aggie user. gs210+gs212

I'm slowly building a second rig. Amp is demeter vtbp-201 pre + crown power amp (2000watts bridge 4 ohm)

I actually had my heart set on a berg 412.

Can you guys compare the aggie and the berg to the schroeder. I was thinking about the schroeder 412L.
I was reading some of the clubpages here and I would be a bit worried if the shcroeder have enough fat bottom for me :-)

Any thoughts?

Well, I have'nt compared my Schroeder cabs to a Berg 412, but I 've played on and compared your Aggies to the Schroeder cabs before... and the Schros blow the Aggies away... I have a Schroeder 410R (1400 Watts) and a Schroeder 212L (1000 Watts) that I power with my Crown XTi 4000 power amp at 1600 Watts per channel (4 ohms)...the Schroeder Cabs are not only a much more efficient, thus louder cab, they punch all day, but the lows have been so deep, even from my 410R cab that its caused nausea in our drummer...I have to be careful where I place it...(it can't be on his right side)...I don't think you'll have to worry about the Schro 412 cab not having enough bottom!!! Peace...DAcat

I've had a new only play 3 times NV610 sitting in the closet for a year Till I traded BassDepot for his Schroeder 610L. I could never get comfortable with the Berg like I am with the Schroeder. When I can start playing again, I'm going to put my new to me 610L along side my 310212 and see if I CAN'T GET ME SOME MORE ROOM ON STAGE .

Yo....once again I would like to know if anyone who has the 1515L....with the Genz Benz shuttle 6.0.

I am really interested in this set up for a blues/R&B/motown band.....and the light
weight....love the idea of a 2 15" cab under 100 lbs.....

any info would be really appreciated.

don't have any firsthand experience with either, but what I know of them sounds like a good match for what you want to do. That's the biggest bummer with Jorg not having any dealers.

My new Schroeder 1215L!!!!

am undecided on a 12/15L or a 1515L
I can't speak for the 1215 or the compact 1515L, but I'm playing a 1515+L (the larger 215 with tweeter). It is actually pretty versatile, and does all the classic sounds (including a studio-perfect sounding vintage/Motown) very well. Definitely not lacking in punch and good deep lows. The best part is that for 2 15's and a not tiny cab (23.5 X23.5 X 17), it's still ultra light -- Only about 51 lb. Mine's a 4ohm. I've driven it with 130w and 800w and it's loud and sounds great. The comments others have made like "everybody couldn't believe so much sound came out of that tiny box" are representative of my experience. You won't be wishing for PA support.

I just purchased my 1st schroeder cab, a 1212L. I bought it last week and have used it on 4 gigs, the smallest being a local bar, the largest, a massive club 600 miles away in front of at least 1000 people. I am going to being selling my old faithful ampeg 610hlf, and i'm excited to come home after work without a sore back. Could i please have a number?
