Hey ::::Bassist:::: can I get a number???
Picked up a 2nd hand 1212L the other week and am awaiting delivery of a 21015 that I ordered on the weekend. Pics to come once the 21015 gets here!

Anyone having a problem with the DuraTuff coating on their cab rattling their amp? I just got my Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0 and, when I put it on top of my 1215, noticed it was rattling like crazy until i stuffed a piece of foam under it.

I've enjoyed this club immensely. However, I no longer own a schroeder cab and its not likely I will in the near future. I am about to take possession of my new Epi UL112 stack... I love the wall of sound that I can get with one stacked on the other.
Anyway, PM me if you want to take over the Schroeder Club President position. The only requirement is that you actually own a schroeder cab and intend to continue keep track of the membership numbers.
I wish you all a fond farewell!

I've not had a problem with it rattling my head (LMII) but I have had it chip off badly on the sharp edges on the grill side. Black duct tape seems to hide the exposed wood very nicely. Maybe you could also try lightly sanding the areas where the head's feet touch the cab so that you have 4 flat areas.

I don't think it's the coating, I'm pretty sure it would happen with tolex or tweed, even rat fur. The cab just vibrates like an acoustic instrument's body, albeit a very LOUD instrument. The first time I noticed it I thought my speakers were shot. I had a four-space case on top of my 410L and everything was buzzing. I used a towel that time, but now what I do is fold up the cover I got with the cab into a pad and place it on top of the cab, then put my (now six-space) rack on top. This seems to work quite well. I also make sure all the grill fasteners are tight before a gig. It may take some prep work, but that's the price one pays for a cab so light-weight that one can carry it up a flight of stairs and still have it put out the SPL's needed to hold its' own in a LOUD rock band with no PA support (my situation). I don't have a cover for the shuttle. I will have to get a foam pad. But I did not have this issue with my rat fur Carvin BX1200. I think the heavier head and the fur padding isolates the vibration.

P Bass + Mark Bass Head + Schroeder Cab, it's true what's not to like?
I now run the cab with the angled 12" downfacing, no difference FOH but a better on stage sound to my ears.
