The Good:
First and foremost, it feels great. Jazz sized neck with a satin smooth finish, sets up nicely. Plays well.

Modeling. Of the originals I am familiar with, it does a pretty good job of approximating the sound, 70-85% accurate, if I had to assign a metric. More important to me is that more than half of the models sound spectacular. You get a wide variety of impressive, useful, bass tones, regardless of how close they are to the originals. The Synths are excellent, great tones, easy to dial in, and superb tracking.

The Bad:
It's a little heavy, and it eats up batteries. You can power it from the DI, but if you want to use it with a wireless system........

I hope i'm getting better too.. I have 9 more days of radiation... Then who knows whats next. Mostly i just feel like crud. The Big Al is awesome though.. Amazing Bass and and an Amzing Gesture from Sterling and Everyone at Ernie Ball, and the forums.

My Dad had non-Hodgekins Lymphoma. Luckily we had caught it really early so we were finished in about 7 months. He felt like crap, but considering what it could have been, it's great.

I don't know whether you're religious but I prayed for you this morning :). I wish you happy times and good health for you and your family in the future. I hope thing's get better for you, Illegitimi non carborundum, I daren't translate that around these parts :hiding:.

It's gestures like that which will get you through. Stay strong man, and rock that bass, I'm sure it's a blessing for you in times like these. Enjoy the bass and remember that everyone here on TB is wishing you will.
