My -97 (or -96, not quite sure) Honey Burst Stingray 5 with black pearl pickguard. When I bought the bass last December I was not a fan of the pickguard, but it has slowly grown on me. I was initially gonna order the traditional white version, but right now I think I will keep it as is. I've had many basses over the years but this is by far the easiest one to play, even though it's absurdly heavy. I find the neck much more comfortable than even my 4 string Jazz Bass, and the action goes super low. It has some tuning stability issues but since I don't gig anymore it hasn't bothered me too much.

Interesting how your maple fingerboards and headstocks have all faded to almost exactly the same color. They look really dark! Love it.
The Sabre bridge is exactly the L2K one. Electronics and pups I’m not sureI've never played a MM Sabre, but it has two MFD looking pu's, three control knobs and 3 switches (and 9v active?) all made by Leo Fender... I'll take wild guess it is similar.

New bass day #2. I modified my new Schecter Omen Extreme 4 with Aguilar DCBs and a 3-band Bartolini preamp. Here's the finished product. I had to drill out to of the holes for the pots to 1/2" from 3/8" to make the harness fit. The stacked knob finish is a little different from the stock knobs. I will look around for a closer match. The pickups fit with 0 to spare. I was scared the bridge pup wasn't going to make it, but it finally wormed into place.
It sounds amazing! It can be warm or it can be raspy. I've only used a 2-band Bartolini preamp before. The mid knob has two frequency settings 200 or 800 HZ. I'm still playing around with it to find the sweet spot.
The pickups sound really sweet in passive mode as well.
Mission accomplished! Now it is a Schecter Omen Ultra Extreme!
