Well, with the news from last week that Hofner are having financial difficulties and are trying to restructure their company financially I thought I'd post a pick of one of mine. This is a 500/1-61-0.
I sincerely hope that they're able to keep the company in operation for now and many years to come.

Beautiful! How do you like the cavern spacing on the pickups?
I like low mids and was wondering if having a pickup father from the bridge would offer something closer to that. Glad to hear it’s working for you.I've owned a "Cavern" for many years so its configuration isn't new to me. I actually prefer its tone with both pickups on. It improves the voicing by increasing the mid-tones of the bass while maintaining the deep woody tone the neck pickup produces. In my opinion it's improved tone definition.
