You should post that Ibanez P in the Black N' Maple Club. It's a beauty https://www.talkbass.com/threads/the-official-black-n-maple-club-part-four.928117/page-129View attachment 7474772
I think I have both P and J covered, 1978 FujiGen Ibanez silver series and a 60's Roadworn Fender Jazz. Both with Flats and foam mutes and near equal mojo. Thinking of getting a dark tort pick gaurd for the P bass, will any of them online work with a little finess mostly?
That neck-to-body transition looks smoooooooth

Wall as case. Interesting.View attachment 7475614
Today’s rehearsal rig. Ive had the Labella IMA super polished strings on this bass since October or something, still pretty fresh sounding!
I just assumed he was going to fill the wall with a D-class and about 12 10" speakers....Wall as case. Interesting.
Or is the Edgar Allen Poe's The Bass of Amontillado?
What's with the screws behind the bridge pickup?Kind of tricky to photograph the blonde finish. A lot more visible in person View attachment 7475616
Early 60’s jazz bass mutes. Mine is not an actual 60’s Jazz but I think it’s a decent clone. Here they are installed on another bass I assembled. What's with the screws behind the bridge pickup?

Yes!!! I just did this to a P bass and am so in love with it. I have a Jazz bass body laying around that I am debating on doing the same to so I have one with flats and one with rounds.i have a older MIM Jazz that is a good weight, has an awesome neck, etc but I have other Jazz Basses already….
I also had a set of Thunderbird pickups….
A little Marvin Gaye on the radio, some raw oysters, and some Hai Karate cologne, and this is what happened !!!
