The official "Show your basses" thread part 19!

My holy grail fell into my mitts today. Pretty overjoyed. all-original 1962 P. Incredible mojo, with local history, and essentially one owner (now in his 80s) prior to me. She's quite filthy right now, but I will gently clean her up in the coming days. Sounds as good as you think.

BEAUTY. One thing the reissues and custom shops never get right on the slap board stuff is the extraordinarily wide 12th fret markers. Unique to only the pre cbs stuff.

It’s getting all the spare parts here. A black BA and some Sadowsky knobs. And maybe this WD pg with yellow bevel. Also a set of Bart 9s.

Out of all basses I've owned, no yellow. Both pics look different - which one is more accurate?

Ok traded my Ibanez black and maple for this MIM Vintera II body and 95' MIM neck. Has Fralin pups and Labella Flats. A close Jamerson tribute bass. Second pic, matching Latina MIM booty shakers Road worn 60's Jazz with Lollar pups and Labella flats as well. Finally got my matching P and J combo I've always wanted, and everything is genuine Fender..at least to me that's important.
