Here she is! A Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass (CIJ). In this pic I have Rotosound 'Steve Harris' (50-110) flats on her but I have since moved on to Rotosound 'Swing Bass 66' (45-105) rounds. I added a Kent Armstrong lipstick Jazz Bass pickup mainly for show but it does get a good tone. The P pickup is stock. I modded her to output in stereo (1 pickup per channel) whenever the P volume knob is pulled out. The stacked knob is a stacked Tone/Tone control. Everything else on her is stock. This is my main bass and the only one I use when playing Ina and scenario. I also have a red Sterling SB4 bass but the neck developed a twist and there's no way to fix it.

Here are my Parts Bass Fender on right and my Fender/Squier on left...
Both with Leo Quann II, Fender and/or Duncan Pickups and Hipshot Drop D Tuner.
I enjoy building them for friends and myself....so I kept the 2 that played, sounded and was what I wanted for my taste.

It's the Roland GK system for playing the VB99 system. I love it, I can literally get any sound I want on this bass.

Full specs:
Vigier Passion Series 2 (1988)
Carbon neck thru - no truss rod
Marleaux electronics
Roland GK pickup, up/down switches and assignable control
Schaller hardware

Controls (from front to back) Vol, active/passive switch, pan, GK, Up switch, down switch, mids, bass, treble

Worth noting that 50% of the time I'll play this bass clean - just the magnetic pickups, passive, no EQ. Sounds incredible. But then I can dial in a Jazz Bass, Musicman, synths and effects as I like which is great fun.

The bass was bought in 2002 without the GK system which I installed around 2010.

Here's the headstock!

Really love this bass, the action is paper thin and there's almost zero relief.

Cheers

I really love your stereo idea. And I allways loved the look of this design. So slick. Is it true what I think I see. Does this neck have a bigger radius than a regular Fender jazz? It might be the lighting of some sorts. But it sure does look comfy.
