Hi,

Here's my first one, and only one until now, built it myself with friends.


Here's how it looked before the recent changes:


It's pretty hefty at 5 kg, that's 11 pounds.

Most recent family photo. Had them all out to try and find a sweetspot on my EQ/filters that would more or less accommodate all of them with minimal tweaking. Started with the ol' Starfire as that is my go-to #1, so the bias is definitely a little in her favor. The Hartke's switchable graphic EQ helps. Anyway, no need to go of on a tone tangent in the photo thread

It's a standard 34" scale, but with a slab body, no pickguard, and super chunky 50's spec neck, it definitely might make the proportions look a little funky. In any case, it's a killer bass!

Must have been the framing of the pic. I build mainly short scale basses and use the blond Bronco Bass neck with a Strat or Tele body.

Hello, new member here. I've got this bass since around 1990. I've found very little informations on it, except it's an Ibanez MC940BK. I might sell it one day, but I have not found any on ebay or reverb (even in the sold section), so I don't know the value for this particular model.
If anyone can help, that would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Thanks! In my opinion it really sounds great, rich, and quite versatile for a fretless.

Thanks for the photo's, I love the color combination and the chrome really Pops. It's very inspiring. If I can find that pickguard material, I may do my black Model T in it.

If you haven't posted it on this thread yet, I'm certain many will like it there also.
