Sounds great, the J is usable here. Both pickups sounds great, Reverend does some cool stuff. the neck is sublime

Yes, the Fatfish 32's neck is perfect for me. slim and fast. The Rumblefish's neck was wonderful as well.

Sound man from show Sat night felt inclined to show me (off) his two prized basses
during tear down. A 70's natural/ Maple Peavey T40 and Epi Bird. My first hands on
examination of a T40. Picked it up and thought I was going to fall over. Must've been
12lbs or close. Massive bridge/ knobs/ pu's- everything- huge and heavy. Mentioned
my TB profile sig. He laughed. Bonding with another bass player/ sound man quip.

Yeah, the T40 was quite a beast.

Why yes they are, strats for the obvious and a Gretsch for the mix

I had that bass ordered, but at last minute I canceled. Maybe some day.

It comes with a MM style pup instead of the J pup, now, I believe.

What's the string spacing on those, looks tight!

Lately my R Bass has been getting alot of playing time. However I love my Lakland as well.

Since the lockdown here in March and with no gigs in the foreseeable future I had to do something, so I managed to find and acquire 4 basses that have been on my "gotta get one of those" list for years.
When these exc specimens showed up I made the grabs.

First up, '79 Ovation Magnum IV in Silverburst:

'86 Yamaha Motion-B-BII:

'87 Gibson IV:

'14 Ruby Red Ric 4003:

I am enjoying these additions immensely and cannot wait to get them out there live! I was very lucky to grab these - they are basically closet classics. And they really play great!!! Especially glad to have a Ric again.

Thanks, and not very common for sure. Then it was like karma...within 4 months I found these specimens. Just glad they didn't all show up at once!!

I figured it was time to post my stable now that I have some new ones in the mix:

'99 MiA Jazz - My newest, but also my oldest. White blonde over ash, completely stock.

MiM Geddy Lee Jazz, completely stock except for the pick guard and Hipshot xtender.

Nate Mendel Precision - I replaced the bridge with a vintage fender bridge, and the pickup is a PV '63. Also has a Hipshot xtender.

MiM Precision Deluxe Special Edition - Swapped out the white pickguard for a black one, and has a Hipshot. Other than that, stock.

MiA Performer Jazz. Stock except for Hipshot.

And last, the Frankenfender Jazz - Neck from a '95 MiM Jazz, body is a fairly new Fender Jazz body, Fender original pickups, BAII bridge from the Nate Mendel P.
