Jason, if you keep trolling the Skjold threads, we're gonna have to fix you up with one of Pete's basses sooner or later (I recommend sooner).

Actually, yeah it does. There's currently 3 basses that dominate my time. My new Skjold is only one of them, but I will say this... right from the get-go it jumped right up beside my two all-time faves, and that's saying a LOT!

However, there are two basses I'm coming dangerously close to putting up, and they're smokin', but lesser played, especially now that I finally have a killer Skjold, and my rule is, with only one exception, if I'm not playing it much...

Yeah, and keep in mind that the next batch he starts probably won't be totally complete until well into next year, so all you really need to worry about now is the deposit.

By the way...this birdseye quilted maple has got to be one of my favorite tops ever! It has a great balance of being extremely rare and stunning while still being classy and not too over the top.
