Appreciate it, Animal52! But I'll deflect credit to the film. I'm telling you, people have started to forget how amazing real B&W film can look -- even the grain (= noise) is eye candy.
You can get a good film SLR with a non-zoom lens off ebay for under $100; stick some Tri-X in there, and keep your lens -stop big (a small number, like 1.8) and voila -- instant art!
Advice needed... for those of you who don't have your own website, what site do you use to host your photos... flickr, photobucket, something else? Thanks.
I use photobucket...there are some fun tools you can play with on there too...you're able to crop, resize...beautify...give it a different texture all together, slap some stickers on, give it borders...or simply upload and grab your codes to post as you want.
EDIT: I forgot you're also able to set your profile on there to private so you can use it as a place to mess around with your photos and not have everyone snooping into them.
