Mine are a 5-string fretted and a twin that's 5-string fretless. Best of both worlds!

Here are a couple of pics of my Warwicks. I'm not a member and not sure how to become one or get a number so if someone could help out with that, I'd appreciate it. Both are 2007 Corvette Standards with active pu's. Bubinga body on one and Swamp Ash with AAAA Koa Top. Warwick 2007 Custom Shop model. Both are like butter. Thanks for letting me display them on this fine thread.

Modifications since I took these photos were to remove the MEC electronics, add some lovely passive Barts, and the replace the knobs with ebony knobs.

very nice luke73. i wish my vette had black hardware. im thinking about replacing the chrome hardware with black but turns out the warwick bridges are really spendy. you got a pic with the ebony knobs? and how are the barts? i was thinking about the same mod

RE the Barts - they're fabulous! Controlled highs - not zingy, lovely focused mids and low mids, with a great bottom. Lovely pups.

Yeah, I love the passive Barts - perfect balance of natural tone for my Corvette fretless!

What exactly barts did you use? I'm going to replace my MECs as well and I'm looking fo really high output and punchy Bartolinis

The Barts I used are the 9CBJD1's. I'm running totally passive, and have it wired Vol-Vol-Tone.
They are dual coil passive humbuckers. (these are the deep version - they also have a brighter wound set (9CBJD3) available).
I swapped them for some Seymour Duncan Classic Stacks I tried that didn't suit me, and I'm glad that I did.
They totally suit the Bubinga Corvette - really bring out the natural tone in my opinion. I wouldn't call them high output though. Not low by any stretch of the imagination, but not as high output as the active MECs.
That doesn't worry me though - that's what the gain knob on my amp is for
Punchy?
Sure - punchy as heck when you want them to be. But they can be smooth too with some pup blend and playing up closer to the neck. Actually, I find with both pups full on and playing over the neck pup they're very smooth - with the bridge pup biased a little and playing over the bridge they have a really nice punchy burp to them. Give the neck pup priority, roll off the tone and play over the fingerboard and they almost sound acoustic.
They sit really well in the mix. Yum Since installing them everytime I play with my band I just think - "yep - that's what my bass is supposed to sound like".

Is there the possibility to join the Warwick Club by owning a Warwick-amp? Or is it basses only?

I was almost set to 9CBJD1 in my bridge and know I've made a final decision
P.S.: I'm still up to place a 9J1-S1 in the neck position (i like a P-tone there). Do you know how they are compared? I mean will it be a decent balance between neck and bridge output? Thank you.
Sorry - I can't tell you about the 9J1-S1. I'm not familiar with it.
Of course I can't nail the real P tone with my 9CBJD1 in the neck position, but soloed, it's still pretty huge.

+1 on the 9CBJD1 for all the reasons Luke said. Beautiful, almost acoustic sound for my fretless bubinga 'Vette, and none of the hum or buzz!
I also have the brighter 3 version in my bubinga Thumb NT, which keeps more of the Thumb's unique growl, but also gives me the option of having a true passive mode or a passive with active EQ (a Bartolini 18V 3 band EQ with MEC pots, so I still have a Vol./Blend stack and the original Warwick knobs).

IMO Warwick should cease to offer chrome hardware, the black hardware just looks so much classier! Excellent photographs you have there, the quality is brilliant!
Streamer LX 5, nirvana black, chrome hardware and red leds over tigerstripe ebony fingerboard. Thats why warwick keeps offering chrome hardware
