That charcoal is scrumptious Petit! Love the gone peacock blue too!
Old pic. The blue one has been replaced with a Thunderbass, and a MVP6 has been added to the collection.
Also reverted the Pedulla guitar back to its original state, with the original cream DiMarzio's (LOUD).
What on earth is that Rapture on the right? Never seen that color finish on a Pedulla and is that 19mm spacing on a single HB 5?

If you mean the charcoal one: it was a custom build by Michael in 2016 after saving money for 20 years (one of his last ones). I think most grandma's sell for less. ;-)

That RB-5 looks like someone hit the desaturate button in Photoshop... almost artificial.
My best friend has the peacock blue so I can visit it every month.
For the charcoal I asked Michael to choose an irregular pattern, so not a perfect stripe and he found an amazing piece of wood. It looks exquisite in sunlight.

Yeah, the irregularities in the red one are very cool too. I think it's more exciting to look at.
I opted for an ebony nut on my 2017 pentabuzz. I'm not sure how long Michael offered that option. Has anyone else gone for an ebony nut?
I can't say what difference it makes because I've never been able to A/B it against a similar bass. It almost sounds cliché but I suspect it "softens" the tone, makes it is less well defined. Sort of like what you get when you swap in a high mass bridge on some basses. Not bad, just different.

I have an ebony nut. Because it looked cool with the charcoal, and it was one of the few custom options Michael offered. No idea what it does for the sound, probably not that much. 
I believe AMB (or ABM?) was a maker in some (later) years. I think Schaller was earlier.
It's the same as your 4 with a Tobacco/Caramel/Coffee sunburst that I've never seen before either but its really one of may favorite basses out of 12 or 13! It's got super low action and the rosewood board is nice and warm when played civilly and it just gets stanky digging in. Kinda P'ish but not.
Yes it's 19mm! My JJ is 17.5mm.

ABM is correct! I replaced the bridge on my ThunderBolt 6 (17.5) with one! I ordered it from Michael and he didn't want to do it at first, but I told him I wanted it to get a little more edge distance on the C string!
The earliest models came with Leo Quann Badass II bridges, then they started sometime in the early or mid 80’s with the Schaller-looking bridges that were probably ABM-made.
My 1982 Buzz came with the Badass II oem.
A friend of mine brought over his Pentabuzz for a comparison.
His is a black '06 JJ, mine is a caramel '17 PJ, both are 17.5mm.
We expected differences in a hand made instrument.
First thing we noticed was that his was nearly a pound lighter. The body on his was thinner, accounting for the difference. You could feel the weight, but also in the grip of the upper horn. Noticable to the eye, wish I had calipers to measure it.
What surprised us was the headstock shape. The headstock on his is a 1/4 inch longer (not obvious in the pic because it's on a slightly higher stand) and the shoulders are higher, which makes it look thinner. It's not. It looks more like a 4-string head stock.
See the pic, allow for the fact that the black beauty is on a slightly higher stand.
