Currently fitted with an ACG filter pre-amp. IMO the best pre-amp for fretless tone.
That thing is just stunning. Those basses imo have the best fretless tone around, aside from the tone Bakithi Kumalo got with his Washburn!

I'm loving these sound clips!!!I was taking a walk down memory lane today, and pulled out my old NTJ CD. I used my Pedulla SB4 on most of this album, and the my '78 P-bass with a Sadowsky outboard preamp on the rest (except for one song with my fretless). I bought this bass new in 1995 while I was recording Not The Joneses first album. It quickly became my workhorse bass, and I gigged regularly with it until 1997 (when I left the band to go to medical school). This bass is the best ergonomic bass I have ever played. It is perfectly balanced, weighs just over 8lbs, and has a super fast neck. I have never had any problems with the neck. It really plays like a dream.

i am thinking about changing the bridge and tuners to black.. any input on this from anyone?
i would definetely contact pedulla to get replacements....do they sell replacements anyone know?
