Im glad someone else shares my experience! Its made my BH very bright when bypassed or at the first two settings and a dub machine at the lowest. It also seemed to make the series parallel settings more powerful. Its just a tone pot so no mod needed if you drop it in. Takes a little getting used to as it doesnt roll off the mids like most tone pots. Im actually thinking about chromes or TI flats now on my BH!

"it made it brighter in bypass"
now *that's* intriguing, because bypass is supposed to be a true bypass.
does it bypass all caps at that point, effectively making it a "pickups to output jack" signal path?
i want the BH5 lots brighter.

So we played in St. Loius and Kansas this past weekend. Packing up in St. louis, this guys come up to me and asks what kind of bass was that. I told him the Reverend story. He said it sounded incredible and asked if he could he check it out. So I said sure. Gave him the one with flats first, then told him I had one with rounds as the backup, and let him try that one too. He was just stunned, said thanks, took a picture of the headstock to remember, and walked away. I finished packing them up, and he comes up again. Said he loves unusual basses, and that one sounded amazing. He then said...I'm sure it's out of the question, but how much for one cash, right now! I actually had to think about it for a moment, but couldn't do it. 
Nice. I'd have a tough time parting with the 69 lime. I think I'm actually going to take it to home depot to color match it, and paint one of the rooms in my basement in 69 lime green!

There sure is a lot to take in with this bad boy.
Too many sounds & settings for one day, I've got one more vid to post playing in single coil neck & series Bridge. for me there are a lot of cool usable settings mostly affecting the mid range
As far as that shimmering tone I'm guessing you could come close with this product & a little tweaking.

Here's a pic from a show a few weeks back:
A couple of guys have property that backs up to an empty grass lot, and they get together once a year and host a BBQ and hire us to play it. They have built a small wood stage just for the annual gig. They also had a keg of Drop Top, a bottle of Jack for the band, and all the BBQ/potluck we could eat.
Everything was so perfect that I had to break out the Lava PJ.

You bet. My wife hates it though. I get to party all day while "setting up"
and then get to rock out for a few hours, while she's at home watching my daughter (which is my day job, but it is NOT an easy task to say the least).I love it though. Getting paid to drink and rock out all afternoon on a sunny day is the best.
It's a small gig, but a good one.
Gonna have to check out one of those tonestyler pedals soon.
