Juaqo;
thx for the link. I have three things to add to my previous stance of "not really all that interested in the new models."
1) When last I talked to Joe about new basses-now, granted, this was some time ago now-he said if there ever were any, they'd likely be made offshore and need to sell at offshore prices to be competitive in the marketplace. So; are these made offshore, and going to sell at offshore prices? If so, that perhaps changes my interest level. I reckon maybe these are growing on me, a little.
2) "Hey, look where they put the strap button!" More or less at 12th position, where it more or less belongs! Now, even if these are 35" scale (so...which are they...34, or 35?") they'll hang more or less where they should, and first position will be a much more natural reach than on the old ones.....Hmmmmm.....maybe I'd give one of these a try....maybe....
3) All those photos have facebook name tags associated with them when you hover your mouse over them. Some names I recognize, some I don't, none seem to be the names of the basses though

Someone might want to change that....just sayin'....
IPlayLoud: anyone saying that the new basses destroy a BH5, tonewise, is pretty big talk. I suppose "hearing is in the eye of the beholder," but if that's Sonic Truth, well, maybe I am interested in auditioning a couple of these, moreso than I thought.
I guess I'm as curious as to what the pricepoints are, now, as anything.
Are they made in the US, and priced accordingly? Which, I'd presume means "priced higher than last time." In which case, I think they'd be a hard sell; at least to me.
Or, are they made offshore, and priced lower than last time; as was Joe's stated goal when last we spoke; in which case, they might actually be a pretty easy sell....including even to me...
Curiouser and curiouser...
