Washington Music Center, in person. I recently upgraded my amp and cabinets so I've spent a fair amount of money there and I think that contributed to a good deal. When I called in the price was higher, but they gave me a great deal when I was ready to show them the green.
Just got a new 4003 a few weeks ago. wanted one since i was 7 and started playing bass. now im 16 and i finally own one

I remember I had way more gear money when I was a kid... Working full time but no rent, no food bill, just gasoline! I can't believe how much money I wasted on CDs and t-shirts.

Does anyone of you have a pickup placed in the mute-position of the bridge pickup? I'd be interested in how it looks, sounds and if it's worth upgrading and what pick up you mounted
(or is this rather a question for the ricken-modder club?). Or is this mod only used for a phantom-coil/dummy pickup and not as an additional third pickup?

I hope I'm not asking too many questions here but you guys are the best I know! Well, my question is; I can get a hold of some new and cheap Rickenbacker tuners and they are so relatively cheap that I'm wondering if they're fake (I've read the article on Joey's Bass Notes already).
The pictures are of the eBay seller who sell's a couple of those. The reviews of the other customers didn't say anything bad about it.
Anyone has some knowledge about this?
I can get them for 50€ (65$) - all four. Maybe I'm just thinking too much...

Yeah, pretty sure those are real.
I've gotten amazing deals on bulk tuners and pickups from eBay before so I don't think it's that surprising. Demand is usually not very high.
